2. He’s better than Brian Hoyer

In my personal opinion, Colin Kaepernick is a much better quarterback than Brian Hoyer. Kaepernick has had much more success as a starter, and Hoyer doesn’t seem like he is anything special.

In Kaepernick’s career, he has 12,271 passing yards, 72 touchdowns, and 30 interceptions. Kap also has 2,300 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns.

If Hoyer was forced to replace Brady, I would be very concerned. He is now an old immobile quarterback who struggles in the pocket. I would just want Hoyer handing the ball off because it wouldn’t be pretty if he was throwing the ball around.

Since Kaepernick is a dual threat he can cause problems for the defense. Opposing teams would have to have a linebacker spy Kap, and that could mean to less pressure in the pocket, and an improved run game.

Now this isn’t just a hypothetical. Kaepernick has been a great leader and would continue to be in New England.
