3. Kaepernick is a proven leader

Kaepernick has been to the biggest stage in football and almost brought a Lombardi Trophy to San Francisco. He has been a leader on and off the field.

In Super Bowl XLVII Kaepernick was 16-28 with 302 yards, a touchdown, and an interception. He also had 7 carries for 62 yards and a touchdown.

Kaepernick did this in his second year. That is pretty damn impressive. On the biggest stage, Kaepernick didn’t disappoint. Maybe if the power didn’t go out, Kaepernick would already be a Super Bowl winning QB.

So the thought of having Colin Kaepernick should excite Patriots fans. He could definitely replace Brady in an emergency situation, and if he had to, I think he could lead them to a Super Bowl.

Next. New England Patriots fans owe Bill Belichick an apology. dark

It will be interesting to see what happens to Kaepernick, but I would love to have him in New England. It’s never a bad idea to have a former starting quarterback back up the greatest quarterback of all time.
