The New England Patriots have struggled a lot at the linebacker position. Dont’a Hightower is looking awful and looks slower than my Grandfather out there on the field.
A linebacker that is doing well is Ja’Whaun Bentley. So far this season he has 8 tackles and an interception. Bentley can be a great run stopper but has also proven he is serviceable in coverage.
Even though he is a rookie, Bradley is becoming a leader on defense. We have even seen him have the green dot in his helmet. We could be witnessing the changing of the guard. The Patriots could be saying goodbye to Hightower sooner than we think.
Bentley could reenergize the defense with his great play. If he can lay some big hits and cause chaos in the backfield, it could mean big things for the Patriots.

Things may seem very bleak for the Patriots. There is a dark cloud permanently over Gilette Stadium at the moment. If these guys can make an impact, the light will return to Foxborough.
