3. Brad Marchand’s snipe ends it

The Boston Bruins got a gift in overtime. First, the Bruins went on the power play after the Stars got called for too many men on the ice. The Bruins had the man advantage and then Esa Lindell crossed check Brad Marchand to make it a 5 on 3.

Marchand would end up ending the game. David Krejci sent a slap pass to Marchand in the far corner and Marchy was able to sneak it past Anton Khudobin to win the game.

It may seem like a shocker since the Bruins haven’t exactly played great, but the Bruins are currently in 3rd place in the Eastern Conference. That ain’t bad at all.

With all the talent in the Eastern Conference, the Bruins were expected to have to fight hard for a top playoff spot. Now I think the Bruins can win the entire thing. If they can get consistent scoring and goaltending they will be unstoppable.

dark. Next. Sad start sends Ryan Donato to Providence

Next up for the Bruins is a matchup with the Vancouver Canucks at TD Garden on Thursday night.
