PHILADELPHIA, PA – APRIL 15: Wayne Simmonds #17 of the Philadelphia Flyers (Photo by Bruce Bennett/Getty Images) /

2. Wayne Simmonds

Wayne Simmonds seems like a perfect fit for the Boston Bruins. He is a hard-hitting forward who still has a great ability to put the puck in the net.

Simmonds would be a great addition to the Bruins 2nd line because he would be a big body who could help the B’s maintain possession in the opponent’s zone and also be an enforcer. If you can gain large amounts of zone time you are bound to score goals.

The “Wayne Train” is one of the Flyers top scorers with 7 goals and 2 assists. His possible future linemate David Krejci is just one point ahead of Simmonds.

I don’t think the Bruins would have to give up a ton for Simmonds. I think they could get away with just giving away a prospect and a decent draft pick. If the Flyers really want a current NHL player I would only want to give up a guy like Danton Heinen or David Backes.

Maybe we will see the “Wayne Train” at North Station soon enough.
