2. Danton Heinen is on fire

Danton Heinen has struggled to score this season, but lately, he has been playing great.

Prior to Saturday’s game against the Toronto Maple Leafs, Heinen only had 2 goals and 3 assists. In the last 3 games, Heinen has 2 goals and an assist.

Heinen had an amazing rookie season. He racked up 16 goals and 31 assists. For a relative no name that is impressive.

I like Heinen. I think he is a good skill player who will help the Bruins in the future. He adds some balance to the Bruins bottom lines. Heinen could easily be a 2nd line winger, but having him on the 3rd line makes the bottom lines a better scoring threat.

Even though Heinen will most likely take a step back from last season I expect him to end the season with some decent numbers and help the Bruins out in the postseason.
