5. A rough night for Jaroslav Halak

Jaroslav Halak has been great for the Boston Bruins, but lately, he has struggled. I would expect to see a lot more Tuukka Rask moving forward.

It’s hard to have a good game in net when you give up 4 goals. Now Halak did make some great saves, especially on breakaway’s, but he just didn’t look good.

The goal that Halak gave up to Johnny Gaudreau was brutal. Gaudreau was at the awkwardest of angles and was still able to score. Halak was simply out of position.

Halak is now starting to look like a backup goaltender. His hot streak has run out.

It looks like Boston is taking advantage of their long homestand as they have 2 more games at home. Maybe Boston could somehow find their way to the top of the Eastern Conference?

Next. Anders Bjork deserves call-up. dark

Boston’s next game is against the Buffalo Sabres on Saturday which will be an important game. It is hard to say that a game is a must win, but I really want to see Boston establish themselves as the top team in the East. If they defeat the Sabres on Saturday they will be on the right track.
