5. Rob Gronkowski saved his job

Rob Gronkowski had a rough season, to say the least. The giant tight end proved that he still has some greatness left in him.

Gronkowski made some amazing plays in the AFC Championship. The tight end had 6 catches for 79 yards.

The defining moment in the game for Gronk came late in the 4th quarter. It was a major 3rd and 5 that the Patriots needed a conversion on.

Tom Brady just threw the ball up to Gronkowski and the big man went up and grabbed it. It is just what Gronk does.

Gronkowski has also become a great blocker. With Gronk not raking in catches he has really had to return to the roots of the tight end position. There were multiple runs that were created by a great block from Gronkowski.

This may be the last Super Bowl for Gronkowski so hopefully he will go out with a bang.
