Chris Hogan has struggled to find his role in the New England Patriots offense. At times it seemed like Tom Brady was ignoring the wide receiver.

But then there are games like the AFC Championship where Hogan is able to prove why he is a valuable member of this offense.

Hogan’s stat line wasn’t that impressive. He only had 5 catches for 45 yards, but those 5 catches were pretty important. Hogan’s best catch was his insane one handed 4th quarter grab. That could’ve killed the Patriots momentum.

I think Hogan has a role in the Patriots offense. He isn’t your No.1 wideout, but when he is your 2nd or 3rd option he plays great.

The Patriots will need Hogan to perform well in the Super Bowl and be the 3rd option that keeps the defense on their toes.
