The New England Patriots are once again headed to the Super Bowl thanks to these 7 offensive players.
It is so awesome to be a fan of the New England Patriots. Words can’t describe it.
Whenever the team goes down there is no need to worry. Tom Brady will just drive down the field in score. The game truly isn’t over until the clock strikes zero.

Now this game definitely gave your heart a workout. There were some times where you may have been concerned. My heart was literally beating in my stomach, but once again the Patriots found a way to win.
New England had a complete effort. There were some great performances on the defensive side of the ball.
But for now, we are going to focus on the offensive side of the ball.
They say that defense’s win championships, but I don’t know if that is the case for the Patriots. It seems that the offense is always bailing the defense out.
This was a great performance by the offense. The Patriots got 3 great performances from 3 different running backs. Some players who had little to no effect in the regular season had big days against the Kansas City Chiefs.
So let’s get ready New England. Our beloved Patriots are headed to their 3rd straight Super Bowl.
Now it’s time to enjoy some great performances and take a look at the New England Patriots offensive stars from the AFC Championship game.

1. Tom Brady is the baddest man on the planet
Tom Brady made one bad mistake, but besides that he played an amazing game.
When you look at Brady’s stat line it isn’t that pretty. He threw for 346 yards, 1 touchdown, and 2 interceptions.

He basically threw one interception and it was ugly in the red zone, but Julian Edelman is to blame for the other one.
Brady consistently led the Patriots down the field. He made some amazing throws and proved that he isn’t taking a step back anytime soon.
There is no one in professional sports who is as clutch as Tom Brady. The man was born with ice in his veins.
Now Tom Brady is headed to his 9th Super Bowl. That is insane to type out. We are literally watching the Michael Jordan of football dominate the NFL.
One thing is extremely clear. Tom Brady is the greatest player of all time and there is no debating it.

2. Sony Michel was an absolute steal
Sony Michel continues to prove just how great of a draft pick he has been. The New England Patriots have a real star in the making.
Michel was dominant in his playoff game scoring 3 touchdowns and having 129 rushing yards. The AFC Championship was another amazing effort.
Sony continued to run the ball with force and make some great runs. The Patriots relied on Michel a lot in the first half and basically owned the ball. New England wasted a lot of time and kept Patrick Mahomes on the bench.
Michel finished the day with 29 carries for 113 yards and 2 touchdowns. There isn’t a lot more you can ask from your rookie running back.
The Super Bowl will be a personal matchup for Michel. He was Todd Gurley‘s backup at Georgia. It will be interesting to see who is the top dawg on February 3rd.

Patriots fans will definitely be hoping that Michel goes off once again.

3. Mr. Reliable
There has been one player that the New England Patriots have constantly been able to rely on, James White.
White has been the New England Patriots best player this season. If Tom Brady gets him the ball there is a good chance he gets the first down.
Once again White was a great pass catcher. He had 4 catches for 49 yards and also 6 rushes for 23 yards.
There were numerous times where White came up clutch. He saved the New England Patriots on multiple 3rd downs.
The Patriots will need a great performance from James White in the Super Bowl. The Los Angeles Rams defense is no joke so every offensive weapon needs to be performing at their highest level.
Without James White, I don’t know if the Patriots make it to the Super Bowl. He is one of the most important players on the team this season.

4. Rex Burkhead came out of nowhere
Rex Burkhead has been a nonfactor for most of the season. Now that it is the playoffs, Burkhead has become a significant part of the New England Patriots offense.
Burkhead made his return the spotlight in the AFC Divisional game. Burkhead ran a great route to catch a beautiful TD pass from Tom Brady.
The AFC Championship was one of Burkhead’s best game of the season.
Burkhead made two key runs for the New England Patriots. He scored the team’s last two touchdowns.
It seemed like Burkhead had X-Ray vision. He found the holes and made some great runs.
If the New England Patriots can continue to get great performances from their running backs they will be a difficult team to beat. Their running back group has truly become a 3 headed monster that no team wants to mess with.
Hopefully, Burkhead will be able to carry this momentum all the way to the Super Bowl.

5. Rob Gronkowski saved his job
Rob Gronkowski had a rough season, to say the least. The giant tight end proved that he still has some greatness left in him.
Gronkowski made some amazing plays in the AFC Championship. The tight end had 6 catches for 79 yards.
The defining moment in the game for Gronk came late in the 4th quarter. It was a major 3rd and 5 that the Patriots needed a conversion on.
Tom Brady just threw the ball up to Gronkowski and the big man went up and grabbed it. It is just what Gronk does.
Gronkowski has also become a great blocker. With Gronk not raking in catches he has really had to return to the roots of the tight end position. There were multiple runs that were created by a great block from Gronkowski.
This may be the last Super Bowl for Gronkowski so hopefully he will go out with a bang.

6. Clutch Chris
Chris Hogan has struggled to find his role in the New England Patriots offense. At times it seemed like Tom Brady was ignoring the wide receiver.
But then there are games like the AFC Championship where Hogan is able to prove why he is a valuable member of this offense.
Hogan’s stat line wasn’t that impressive. He only had 5 catches for 45 yards, but those 5 catches were pretty important. Hogan’s best catch was his insane one handed 4th quarter grab. That could’ve killed the Patriots momentum.
I think Hogan has a role in the Patriots offense. He isn’t your No.1 wideout, but when he is your 2nd or 3rd option he plays great.
The Patriots will need Hogan to perform well in the Super Bowl and be the 3rd option that keeps the defense on their toes.

7. Tom Brady’s BFF
Julian Edelman was once again there when Tom Brady needed him. There were numerous 3rd downs that were saved by Edelman.
I don’t know what it is about Edelman, but the guy sure can take a hit. He is able to hold on to some balls where he gets absolutely rocked.
Edelman had a great night in Kansas City. He had 7 catches for 96 yards.
It is clear that Tom Brady trusts Julian Edelman to make any catch. He may have let a ball go through his fingers for an interception but I don’t expect Tom Brady to give Edelman the cold shoulder in the Super Bowl.
So now it is that wonderful time of the year. We get to watch our favorite football team play in yet another Super Bowl.
This is the best time to be a New England Patriots fan. Sometimes you have to step back and realize how lucky we truly are.
