Stephon Gilmore

Stephon Gilmore was the lockdown corner that the New England Patriots needed in 2019. He definitely proved that the Patriots made the right decision moving on from Malcolm Butler.

Gilmore held some of the best receivers in the NFL in check. in 2018 he had 2 interceptions, 2 forced fumbles, 20 passes defended and 45 tackles.

Coming out of the Combine, Gilmore was looked at as a player who could become a starter right away. Some scouts even thought that he might make a move to safety.

Gilmore was looked at to be a playmaker and one of the best corners to come out of the SEC in his draft class. The scouts gave Gilmore a pretty high grade and they have been proven right. he is one of the top corners in the NFL today.

The case for re-signing Cordarrelle Patterson. dark. Next

Hopefully we will be seeing some quality players find their way to New England in the 2019 NFL Draft.
