3. Jake DeBrusk

Arguably the hottest Bruin right now is Jake DeBrusk. Hopefully he can stay hot even though he is dealing with an injury and has been forced to miss a game.

This season has been a rollercoaster for DeBrusk. His play has constantly fluctuated from playing well to playing poorly. This time his quality play appears to be permanent.

During the Bruins streak, DeBrusk has racked up 8 goals and 7 assists. It seemed like DeBrusk was poised for a Sophomore slump, but when you look at his numbers they are some of the best on the team. In 57 games he has 22 goals and 12 assists.

DeBrusk is faced with an obstacle now that he is dealing with a lower-body injury. Hopefully he will be back on Saturday and will continue his scoring ways.

If DeBrusk can continue to score, the Boston Bruins will have two quality top lines which are essential in the postseason.
