Price believes home is where the wins are

The schedule makers sure played a trick on the Boston Red Sox by beginning their 2019 season with a West Coast trip.

Still, this team should’ve been prepared and more competitive.  Still, the starting pitching should’ve at least showed up for their starts.  With that being said, David Price has been the best of the five starting pitchers despite being winless himself.

The lefty did have his typical bad inning in the second but bounced back and kept his team in the game.  As far as the frustration goes, Price kept it real after the all.  While Cora won’t admit to the frustration, the veteran pitcher didn’t hold back about taking another loss to start the season.

"“It’s frustrating,” David Price said, via MassLive. “Everybody in here is frustrated. We’ve been through a lot together, this group of guys over the last two and three years. So we’ll be OK. I think everybody in here understands that. We’ve just gotta take it one game at a time like we did last year when we won 108 games and 119 on the season and (were) World Series champions. We just need to get back home. Our fans will remind us of how good we are.”"

Price went on to say that he does think fans at Fenway will still cheer the team, as they should.  The last time they saw their beloved team was in Game 2 of the World Series.  Despite the early season struggles, it will be the first time the fans get to celebrate the champions.

It is those cheers, along with receiving their World Series rings that David Price believes will get the ball rolling with this team as it will remind them as to how good they are.
