David Price

Now I may have trashed on the pitchers, but if there is one pitcher who has a chance to make the All-Star game it’s David Price.

Like the rest of the rotation, Price’s season got off to a rough start, but he has really turned his season around. He is the Red Sox’s ace right now.

Price may have a record of 3-2 but he has an impressive ERA of 2.83 with 59 strikeouts.

The rest of Boston’s rotation will have to improve if they want to make the playoffs. The Red Sox’s offense is just fine, it’s the pitching that needs to improve.

So hopefully we will see a few of these guys in the All-Star game this season. The All-Star break will be an important time for the team as they look to start the 2nd half of the season on the right foot.

If not the Red Sox may fail to make the playoffs after winning the 2018 World Series. That would be quite the dropoff.
