Stephon Gilmore, CB

You better believe All-Pro cornerback Stephon Gilmore is going to want to show his former team what kind of player he has become since joining the New England Patriots.

As clearly the anchor in the Patriots’ secondary, Gilmore will more than likely take on the task of shutting down Bills receiver John Brown.

With 246 yards receiving this season, Brown is big play threat the secondary will have to worry about.  With Josh Allen’s ability to escape the pocket and keep plays alive, Gilmore keeping track of Brown will be big.

In all, the Patriots’ defense will also need to worry about limiting veteran slot receiver Cole Beasley and rookie tight end Dawson Knox.  As long as John Brown is locked down, that task should be easier for a defense that has been solid on all three levels the first three weeks of the season.

While the defense may finally give up some points, there won’t be many opportunities for the Bills unless an unexpected offensive weapon breaks out with a big game.

Needless to say, the New England Patriots won’t let John Brown beat them.
