The scary thing about this New England Patriots defense is that veteran defensive end Michael Bennett hasn’t been as disruptive as he can be any given game.

Granted, the Patriots haven’t gone up against the greatest of offenses, but the fact the defense has been ballin’ without Bennett being a huge factor only means good things for the team moving forward.

With 4.o tackles and 2.0 sacks coming into this game against Colt McCoy and the Washington Redskins, expect Michael Bennett to double those numbers.

Not only is he familiar with Jay Gruden’s offense, as he played against them twice last season as a member of the Philadelphia Eagles, he will have opportunities to make some plays.  Although McCoy is a veteran, the Redskins will turn to Adrian Peterson early which will give Bennett and the interior of the defense chances to make plays.

Once McCoy does go back to pass, the power of Bennett will land him a couple of sacks in this game.
