Josh Gordon, WR

Last week, I predicted a big game from Josh Gordon against the Washington Redskins.

He was an overthrown deep pass by Tom Brady away from having his biggest statistical game of the season.

With five receptions for 59 yards, Gordon was okay in Week 5.  It was obvious Brady and Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels were trying to get him involved in different ways.

On Thursday night, expect Gordon to finally have that breakout game this season.  Besides, it was last season on a Thursday night against the Indianapolis Colts where Josh Gordon caught his first touchdown pass from Tom Brady.

Now, Gordon has been questionable all week with a knee injury, but with Phillip Dorsett already downgraded to out for this game, it’s a safe bet the big, tough receiver will give it ago with the team having some extra time off before their next game against the New York Jets.
