Kansas City Chiefs vs. Tennessee Titans

The New England Patriots will look for old friends Mike Vrabel, Dion Lewis, Logan Ryan and the Tennessee Titans help bury the Kansas City Chiefs further down in the AFC standings.

At 6-3, the Chiefs have been keeping their heads above water after losing starting quarterback Patrick Mahomes II, but with a suspect defense, the AFC West favorites find themselves now fighting off the Oakland Raiders.

Yes, Mahomes will be back for this game, but will he be 100 percent?

A pumped-up Titans team should at least test the Chiefs offense led by playmakers Travis Kelce and Tyreek Hill.  However, early scores by Kansas City could take Tennessee out of the game early, especially with the way their offense has struggled.

In all, the Kansas City Chiefs and not the Tennessee Titans are the desperate team in this game.  The Chiefs cannot afford to fall 3 games behind the New England Patriots this late in the season.

The two teams still have a head-to-head matchup, but with the Baltimore Ravens now in the mix for the top spot, the Chiefs don’t want to be the team that ends up with No. 3 seed or lower.  A loss could also put them in position to not even make the playoffs given the way the Oakland Raiders, Houston Texans, Buffalo Bills, Indianapolis Colts and suddenly the Pittsburgh Steelers are playing.

A Chiefs loss would be great for Bill Belichick and the Patriots.  A win keeps them close in the standings.
