With Patrick Chung ruled out for this game, the next man up is safety Terrence Brooks who has been an underrated addition to the New England Patriots defense and on special teams.

With an interception under his belt, look for Brooks to be an important player on defense as he will more than likely be used to defend Philadelphia Eagles tight end Zach Ertz or if Stephon Gilmore is used to defend Ertz, watch for Brooks to battle against Philly’s other tight end Dallas Goedert.

With Alshon Jeffrey out for this game, Carson Wentz will try to get the ball to his talented tight end duo to try to attack the Patriots offense in an area where they may be the weakest and that is guarding pass-catching tight ends.

The Eagles don’t have the personnel to completely mimic the Baltimore Ravens offense, but they actually may have more talent at the tight end position.  Whoever defends the tight ends will be challenged and this is where a player like Terrence Brooks has to and will step up.
