San Francisco 49ers vs. New Orleans Saints

This very intriguing NFC West matchup between the San Francisco 49ers (10-2) and New Orleans Saints (10-2) feature two teams the New England Patriots could potentially face in Super Bowl LIV if they get there.

Coming off a tough road loss to the Baltimore Ravens, the Jimmy Garoppolo and the 49ers will look to get back in the win column against a very explosive Saints offense featuring of course Drew Brees, wide receiver Michael Thomas and versatile running back Alvin Kamara.

That tough 49ers offense will be challenge led by the outstanding rookie pass rusher Nick Bosa, who will look to disrupt Brees in the pocket.

But, don’t sneeze on the Saints defense and the 49ers offense in this game either.  The 49ers have perhaps the best tight end in the game in George Kittle and the very shifty Emanuel Sanders running routes for Garoppolo.

This sets up an intriguing matchup between Sanders and either Marcus Lattimore or Eli Apple as Lattimore might be slotted up against Kittle.

Not to look past the rest of the regular season and playoffs to Super Bowl LIV, but if the New England Patriots play either of these teams, there will interesting matchups on both sides of the field.

The quarterback matchups between Tom Brady and either Jimmy Garoppolo or Drew Brees wouldn’t be a bad draw either.

For Patriots fans, it doesn’t matter which team wins or loses, this one will be pure entertainment and perhaps a glimpse of the NFC’s representation at Super Bowl LIV.

The Seattle Seahawks will certainly have something to say about that.
