While the emphasis is on the Buffalo Bills ground attack, the New England Patriots secondary does have to guard against the big arm of Josh Allen.

That’s where Stephon Gilmore, who has secured himself as the top cornerback in the league, will come in to play.

The Bills do have an explosive wide receiver in John Brown who is capable of getting behind the Patriots secondary.  Gilmore, going up against his former team, can’t allow that to happen.

As an anchor of the secondary, taking away that side of the field will allow the safeties to move up in the box and help against the run.  Following a two-interception performance against the Cincinnati Bengals, one a pick-six, don’t expect Gilmore to let up on his dominant play, especially against an erratic, young quarterback like Josh Allen.

Prediction: Stephon Gilmore shuts down John Brown like he has done all season long against premier wide receivers like Amari Cooper, Odell Beckham Jr. and DeAndre Hopkins.
