Matthew Slater dominates special teams

The New England Patriots special teams unit has been one of the best parts of the entire team. The amount of amazing plays they have made is too many to count.

A lot of people like to joke about Matthew Slater. Some will discount his role on the team, but he is definitely one of the more important players in the locker room. He is a leader in the locker room and one of the best at his job.

Slater once again showed his skill in Week 17. He helped pin the Dolphins deep by swatting the ball away from the end zone.

It might sound crazy but I think that Slater is a Hall of Famer. He is elite at what he does and deserves to be enshrined. Some may also discount them, but he has also won multiple Super Bowls.
