Kemba feeling good

Well, despite that embarrassing loss, it was good to see Kemba Walker back.

In his first game since the All-Star break, Walker poured in 21 points in 23 minutes.  He was a little rusty, but that would be expected for a player who has watched his team from the bench the last couple weeks.

While it would’ve been nice to have him playing in that overtime period in which the Boston Celtics were outscored 11-2, easing him back in and having him primed and ready for the playoffs is the overall goal.

While he rather his team had won that game, Walker said after the game that he felt good out there on the court. Most importantly, his knee felt good after the game.

"“I feel pretty good,” Walker said, via ESPN. “Obviously I missed five straight so I still gotta get my rhythm, my timing back, everything like that, so, I felt good today.”"

Now, it’s just a matter of getting Walker and Jayson Tatum on the court at the same time when the duo is playing at an All-Star level. Along with a healthy Jaylen Brown, Gordon Hayward and Marcus Smart, the Boston Celtics won’t have many nights like they did on Tuesday night against Caris LeVert and the Brooklyn Nets.

Nights like that will be an anomaly indeed.
