Expectations were low at the beginning of the season
At the beginning of the season, Celtics fans didn’t know what to expect. You didn’t know if the Celtics were going to go far in the playoffs or if they would even make it at all.
When looking back at the Celtics season you need to keep this in mind. The fact that Boston is in 2nd place is amazing. The play they are getting from Tatum and others is spectacular. We might always have championship aspirations in Boston but this team deserves a tip of the cap.
No matter where Boston ends up or how far they get in the playoffs the season can only be described as a success.
Last season it was hard to even root for the Celtics. Now the team is filled with likable players and is playing some great basketball.
Hopefully, the Celtics go deep in the playoffs. Maybe they can even sneak their way into the NBA Finals?
