Trevon Hill

The Patriots got another big man after the NFL Draft. Trevon Hill will look to be another defensive end who finds his way on the roster.

Hill has had an interesting college career. After an argument with a member of the Virginia Tech coaching staff got him dismissed from the school, Hill ended up playing for Miami.

One thing that sticks out is how consistent Hill is. He might not rack up tackles or sacks at a crazy rate, but he has similar numbers each season.

What makes Hill interesting is his versatility. He can work on either side of the line. This boosts his chances of staying in New England. Also, Hill can even drop back in coverage if necessary.

A key thing for Hill will be falling in line with the Patriot Way. If he has another blow-up with coaches, his time in New England will be short. I think it’s fair to say that Hill has probably learned from his mistake at Virginia Tech.

But if Hill keeps on battling he might stay with the New England Patriots in 2020.
