Boston Celtics: 3 players to watch when play resumes
By Sam Minton
Marcus Smart
Marcus Smart gained a lot of fans all over the world since basketball stopped. He was one of the first players to test positive for the coronavirus and he spoke openly about its effect and how people should take it seriously.
Smart has been healthy for months now but people will definitely be interested to see how he does on the court. Hopefully, the coronavirus didn’t take away any of his hustle.
Smart will be a key part of the Celtics second unit. He is the prototypical 6th man who can enter a game and flip it on its head in a moment’s notice. Smart’s energy is contagious and his willingness to sacrifice his body makes him beloved by fans and teammates alike.
With so much being unknown about how the players will perform once games begin, the Celtics 2nd unit could play a key role. If the starting unit is struggling, Smart and co. will need to pick up the slack.
Honestly, all of just can’t wait for basketball to be back. Hopefully, the Celtics are able to go on a run and surprise us with their success. Disney is the most magical place on Earth so anything is possible.
