Boston Red Sox third baseman Rafael Devers on the verge of stardom.

Another player who is coming off an amazing season is Rafael Devers. The young star was one of the best hitters on Boston’s roster last season.

Devers was hitting the ball all over the park. He had a .311 batting average with 32 home runs and 115 RBIs. It was a truly phenomenal season for such a young player.

This season Devers will also have some added pressure. He along with other members of Boston’s lineup will be forced to pick up the pace.

If Devers is able to improve on last season it would be amazing. He would establish himself as one of the best hitters in MLB.

If the Boston Red Sox want to be succesful they will need another .300 and 30-plus home run season from Devers. Just like Boston relied on Betts for production, they will do the same with Devers in 2020.

It will be exciting to see what Devers does in 2020, it seems like the sky is the limit for the third basemen.
