August 7th Celtics at Raptors

This will be one of the toughest games for the Celtics and also one of the most important. Currently, the Raptors hold the No.2 seed with a 3 game lead on the Celtics. If Boston wants to get the No.2 seed winning this game would help out a lot.

Looking at Toronto’s schedule, it is likely that they will be 2-1 with their loss being against the Lakers. If that is the case, Boston would be 2 games out of the 2 seed.

The key will be if the Celtics can contain Pascal Siakam. He is an athletic and talented power forward who is averaging 23.6 points and 7.5 rebounds a game.

3-2. . . . BOSTON CELTICS

Sadly I think the C’s will end up losing this one. Siakam and Serge Ibaka will be too much to handle in the paint and also Fred VanVleet could have a good game as well. The C’s have a bunch of players to worry about and I haven’t even mentioned Kyle Lowry.

This would move the Celtics back to their original position of being 3 games behind the Raptors. Boston still has a chance to get the No.2 seed because Toronto has a tough end of the schedule. They end the season going up against the Bucks and the 76ers.
