Gordon Hayward is healthy

Another player who is looking good down in Orlando is Gordon Hayward. He seems focused and determined to show the NBA that he means business and is still a great player.

Hayward is having his best season since coming to Boston and is averaging 17.3 points and 6.5 rebounds a game. He continued his great play on Sunday scoring 17 points and 6 rebounds.

Like Walker, the Celtics will probably manage Hayward’s minutes. With his injury history it is better to be safe rather than sorry.

But these scrimmages have shown that Boston will be ready when games begin. We didn’t know what to expect from the team after such a long layoff. It looks like they weren’t too rusty.

It looks like the Celtics will have a good chance to do well down in Orlando. If Brown and Hayward continue to play like this, and Tatum and Walker can improve, the Celtics will do just fine.

Next. Daniel Theis the best value on a championship contender. dark

So get ready Celtics fans, competitive basketball will be back soon.
