Play smart

Another thing that was obvious in the round-robin games was that Boston was sloppy. If the Bruins want to win they need to play smart. If the B’s shoot themselves in the foot too many times they will be eliminated.

The Bruins can’t be committing stupid penalties and making mistakes in the playoffs. We saw Boston get called for too many men on the ice and other dumb penalties. They weren’t even physical mistakes they were mental.

Also defensively we saw Boston fail to cover players driving towards the net. The Bruins can’t allow for teams to get easy scoring chances. The scoring will come but if Boston is giving up easy chances they won’t succeed.

Next. Jake DeBrusk should stay. dark

Bruins fans shouldn’t panic. You should expect a much better Bruins team when the first round begins. Boston should advance to the second round. If they don’t it will be a long offseason in Boston.
