If Mohamed Sanu clicks with Cam Newton…

If a healthy Mohamed Sanu clicks with Cam Newton…or Jarrett Stidham, the New England Patriots offense will be that much better.

Acquired at the 2019 NFL Trade Deadline for a second-round pick, the veteran wide receiver really only had one big game catching the ball from Tom Brady.

As a lower leg injury appeared to have limited Sanu’s productivity down the stretch, the 30-year old wide receiver is eager to prove he was very much worth that second-round pick.

With an encouraging mindset highlighted by his Instagram post below, Mohamed Sanu has been working out with Cam Newton and looking good doing it, and just the sight of it is pumping up fans and his teammates.

Placed on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list early in training camp, Sanu was activated off the list on Tuesday after passing his physical, which is great news for the player and the offense.

In the social media posts we have seen posted showcasing Mohamed Sanu working out with Cam Newton, we have not only seen a healthy Sanu, but a motivated Sanu hyped to return to the playmaker he was with the Atlanta Falcons.

If he comes close to the 66 receptions for 838 yards he produced in his last full season in Atlanta in 2018, the New England Patriots offense will be that much more efficient and better than expected.

Along with a motivated Julian Edelman and more experienced N’Keal Harry, a healthy Mohamed Sanu can absolutely change everything whether he is catching the ball from Cam Newton or Jarrett Stidham.
