Gunner Olszewski

Patriots wide receivers can have a difficult time in practice. They are going up against the best secondary in the NFL. When you are matched up against Stephon Gilmore it’s hard to make a play.

One receiver who has been looking good so far is Gunner Olszewski. He was somehow able to crack Gilmore’s code.

So far in Training Camp, Gilmore has only allowed one catch and that belongs to Gunner.

Olszewski got some extra reps thanks to N’Keal Harry not being present for practice. This allowed him to show just how much he has grown.

Gunner should make the roster and should see more targets in 2020. He is a quality depth receiver and will help fill the void when Julian Edelman eventually retires. After all the big hits he has taken that could be sooner rather than later.

So far, Patriots Training Camp has been interesting and some players are already proving that they belong on the final roster.
