J.C. Jackson

One of the more underrated cornerbacks in the NFL is J.C. Jackson. In Week 1, Jackson showed how talented he is.

Since entering the league, Jackson has been covering guys like he’s a blanket. In the last three seasons, Jackson’s passer rating against is less than 50 percent. That just shows how hard it is for receivers to make a catch with Jackson on them.

Jackson had a complete game on Sunday. On top of two tackles, he recovered a fumble and sealed the victory for New England with an interception late in the fourth quarter. It was a great play by Jackson.

If the Patriots can get this type of play from the secondary week in and week out, New England will be a problem. Cam Newton has proven that he can lead the offense. If the defense continues to play well, the Patriots will win a large amount of games.

If Jackson continues to play this well the rest of the NFL will have to take notice and realize he is one of the best corners in the league.
