Watch out for Las Vegas Raiders defensive stud Maxx Crosby

The Las Vegas Raiders defense isn’t that scary, but one player who can impact the line of scrimmage and get in Cam Newton’s face is second-year defensive end Maxx Crosby.

Following a rookie season in which he recorded 10 sacks, this talented 6-foot-5, 265-pound defensive stud could provide some problems for a New England Patriots offensive line that will be without center David Andrews in this game.

If the Patriots can’t get the running game going with Cam Newton running the option, a lot of focus will be on the tackles.  Isaiah Wynn or Jermaine Eluemunor, depending on where Crosby lines up, will have to keep the Raiders talented edge rusher in check.

If they are able to give Newton the time, the Patriots’ offense should have success.  If Newton is faced with consistent pressure, it will certainly challenge the new look offense to made adjustments.

Although he has yet to record a sack this season, it starts with Maxx Crosby whose rookie production as a defensive end rivaled that of both Nick Bosa and Khalil Mack.

Needless to say, the New England Patriots offensive line could have their hands filled.
