Rex Burkhead was in full effect vs Las Vegas Raiders

This New England Patriots player prediction was right on point.

Rex Burkhead didn’t have over 120 all-purpose yards as predicted, but he did make an impact and he was featured.

With 49 yards rushing and 49 yards catching the ball, Burkhead was an absolute factor in this game.  Serving as the perfect weapon for Cam Newton, the versatility of the veteran running back was on display, especially on this awesome move on a short pass from Newton that had the Las Vegas Raiders literally twisting and turning:

In all, Rex Burkhead scored three touchdowns in the game and was just excited to continue to do whatever the New England Patriots ask him to do.

"“Really just trying to do whatever role is given to me to the best of my abilities,” Burkhead said following the game.  “Coach [Josh] McDaniels does a great job of that, putting us in positions to succeed.  So anytime I get my number called, I just try to do that.  When you have great teammates on your side like we do, it definitely makes your job easier.”"

When healthy, Burkhead has proven he can be a viable weapon for the Patriots.  He proved it Sunday in a nutshell.
