The New England Patriots have to find a way to contain these 5 super scary Kanas City Chiefs players.

Coming off a 36-20 victory over the Oakland Raiders, the New England Patriots take their act on the road to take on the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs in a late afternoon showdown at Arrowhead Stadium.

In a matchup that features a rejuvenated Cam Newton vs the young upstart quarterback Patrick Mahomes II, the story is going to be which defense steps up to the occasion.

The Patriots don’t have the firepower the Chiefs have, but this could potentially turn into a high scoring game if Bill Belichick can’t find a way to slow down that lethal Chiefs’ offensive attack led by Mahomes.

With a lack of threats in the passing game, Newton and the Patriots will hope to build on their running attack which ran over the Raiders for over 200 yards.  In perhaps adding James White and/or Damien Harris to that attack the Patriots best defense might be their offense in this game.

In looking at this NFL Week 4 matchup, the Chiefs just have too much firepower to completely shut down and some players on both sides of the ball who present some scary matchups on the field.  The advantage for Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots is that they have had success against Andy Reid’s team, but that was with Tom Brady at quarterback.

Can they present a different problem with Cam Newton at the helm?

Most importantly, can they limit all the problems the defending Super Bowl champions present?

In all, the Kansas City Chiefs are 3-0 and here are five players who are super scary in this AFC battle.
