Chris Jones could disrupt everything for the New England Patriots offense

The New England Patriots could catch a break on Sunday when they take on the Kansas City Chiefs on the offensive side of the football.

Listed as questionable due to a groin injury, the Chiefs most disruptive defensive player could be watching from the sidelines.  Coming off a week in which he sacked Baltimore Ravens stud quarterback Lamar Jackson, Chris Jones is the type of player who could disrupt everything the Patriots will try to do offensively.

The big defensive tackle has been a nuisance the last few matchups between the Patriots and Chiefs getting in the face of Tom Brady and batting down passes with his length.  His power inside has been the main problem for the Patriots offensive line and that will be challenged with Joe Thuney filling in for David Andrews at center.

If Chris Jones does go in this game, and he will probably give it a go, the offensive line will be challenged to neutralize both him and Frank Clark to give the running game and short passing game a chance to get some rhythm going in this game.

This is definitely an injury to watch because the Chiefs will give up some yards on the ground, but if they are locked in on stopping what Cam Newton does, Jones will be a big part of limiting the mobility of the New England Patriots quarterback.

As a big force in the middle of the Kansas City Chiefs defensive line, Chris Jones (if available) will draw a double team which could free up the next man on the list to tee off on Cam Newton.
