Chase Winovich will be a beast

The New England Patriots defense are going to have their work cut out for them against that explosive Kansas City Chiefs offense.

Patrick Mahomes aside, the Chiefs just have playmakers everywhere.  While stopping the passing game will be key, the Patriots front seven must contain rookie running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire and also Mahomes from scrambling for big yardage.

That is where I expect second-year defensive end Chase Winovich to have a big game against the Chiefs.  With his high motor he is capable of putting some pressure on Mahomes and will also not give up on a play.

With some of the plays we have seen Patrick Mahomes makes already in his brief career, discipline is going to be key for the New England Patriots defense, especially a guy like Winovich who goes hard every play.

Coming into this Monday night matchup with 1.5 sacks on the season, including a strip sack last week, Chase Winovich will add to that total in this game and in doing so will further define his name as an up-and-coming star for the Patriots on defense.
