With the NFL Trade Deadline just three weeks away, what will the New England Patriots do to improve their roster? Here are four players who could add impact.

The New England Patriots are 2-2 entering Week 6 of an NFL season that has been both unpredictable and challenging due to COVID-19 and the schedule shifts the team has already had to endure.

Along with player opt outs before the season even started, the coaching of Bill Belichick has never been more in the spotlight than it is now.  With Cam Newton leading the offense in place of Tom Brady, there is a new feel about this team.

In their wins they have dominated, and, in their losses, they have shown great fight.  But, in those losses and even in victory there are some glaring needs at some key positions that can obviously be addressed at the NFL Trade Deadline.

In an unusual season, Bill Belichick is unsure about player movement during this challenging time due to COVID-19 but seems willing to engage in trade talks if he believes it will help his team.

"“We’ll have to see how much activity there is or isn’t,” Belichick said Thursday morning during his conference call.  “There certainly are a lot of unknowns going forward, not just this year but even in the next year relative to team building and salary cap and so forth. I think that may have everybody with a little less ability to really plan things out the way they want to do them and that may be causing some hesitation, as well. I think you’re certainly seeing more players stay with the teams that they’re on and teams using those players as depth with the injured reserve rules this year and the practice squad expansion giving teams more of an ability to do that, and I think we’re certainly seeing that play out.”"

With glaring needs at wide receiver, tight end and in their defensive front seven, there are four impact players the New England Patriots may look to target prior to the NFL Trade Deadline.
