Damien Harris

One of the better stories of the 2020 season has been Damien Harris. It appears as though he could have a real future with the Patriots. Maybe New England does know how to draft players.

Harris has had quite the start to his career. Even though he has only played in 4 games, he already has two games where he ran for over 100 yards. Unlike Michel, Harris is showing that he is able to gain yards at a quality rate.

Besides his stats, the way that harris runs the ball shows that he will be a great addition to the Patriots backfield. Harris runs downhill and is able to blow by defenders. It’s a great change of pace compared to Michel.

If Harris is able to perform at this level throughout the rest of the 2020 season, he might have just won the starting job. He will get plenty of carries with Michel on Injured Reserve.

Besides one good season, Michel has been a massive disappointment. It seems like it’s time for the Patriots to move on from him.

So it will be interesting to see how Harris plays for the rest of 2020. The Patriots might have found the feature back they have been desperately looking for.
