New England Patriots to ‘buy’ after Week 10: Chase Winovich

After getting his playing time significantly cut, Chase Winovich has proven that he is everything that Patriots fans want. He will be a key part of New England’s defense.

Now the Patriots experimented with Winovich on Sunday night. Instead of using him on the edge of the line, Winovich was primarily used as a linebacker. It’s safe to say that decision paid off.

Winovich was able to grab the most tackles of the season against the Ravens. He had seven tackles and showed just how versatile he is.

It will be hard for Bill Belichick to not use Winovich. He has shown that no matter the game plan he is able to succeed.

Now the question is where will New England line up Winovich. It honestly seems like the best position would be having Winovich stand up like a traditional linebacker.

This allows for Winovich to roam all over the field and make plays. In Week 10, Winovich showed he is able to keep up with offensive skill players.

So it’s fair to expect that Winovich should have a strong end to the 2020 season.
