New England Patriots whose stock dropped in Week 11- No. 1: Devin McCourty

The defense as a whole struggled but Devin McCourty has an uncharacteristically bad game. He won’t enjoy watching the film after his performance in Week 11.

McCourty struggled tackling on Sunday. It was one of the worst performances that he has had in 2020. Deshaun Watson absolutely ran over him on one play.

The secondary as a whole has struggled at times. One game they will look amazing while the next they will look terrible.

It’s a shame that McCourty’s career will end like this. He might play one or two more seasons, but he has played in his last Super Bowl. New England might not even make it back to the playoffs before he retires.

So now this is where the Patriots are. They are out of the playoffs and have nothing to play for in 2020. The best thing for New England to do would be to lose at this point. Then at least they will get a decent draft pick.

2020 has not treated Patriots fans well and the same goes for some players on New England’s roster. Hopefully, Week 12 will be much better but facing the Arizona Cardinals and Kyler Murray means that the Patriots will likely lose again.

The only thing that fans can hope is that the Patriots play better than they did in Week 11.
