New England Patriots: 3 reasons for fans to be thankful in 2020 – No.2: Cam Newton’s performance

One of the bright spots on New England’s roster has been Cam Newton. So far he has lived up to all the hype.

When Newton was signed, New England erupted. Having a dynamic quarterback like Newton was something that Patriots fans aren’t used to.

It has been very fun seeing Newton run over the field, but he also has done well throwing the ball. Compared to Brady this season, Newton has a much more impressive arm.

So far in 2020, Newton has thrown for 1,900 yards and four touchdowns while also rushing for 341 yards and nine touchdowns.

Even though the Patriots are struggling you can’t blame Newton. He is giving his all out on the field and has been just the leader New England needs.

Also, Newton has simply made games interesting. He can break off for great plays that make you leap out of your seat.

Without Newton, this could have been a very long and disappointing season.
