New England Patriots: 3 players whose stock dropped in Week 12 – No.1: Cam Newton

It seemed as though Cam Newton was about to end the season on a high note, but that wasn’t the case on Sunday. Newton had an awful performance and could only be described as a liability.

Newton made horrible throws and poor decisions. He was simply awful throwing the football. Newton ended the day with a 50 percent completion percentage, 84 passing yards, and two interceptions.

Once again Newton was a liability on the field. He almost cost the Patriots the win.

Honestly the fact that the Patriots won is disappointing. They need to get a quality draft pick not a playoff spot.

It’s very clear that Newton is not the Patriots quarterback of the future. The same goes for Jarrett Stidham.

If the Patriots want to begin the process of becoming contenders again, they need to find their next QB in the draft. The more they win, the less likely it seems as though that will become a reality.

So as you can see even though the Patriots were able to win, it wasn’t a great day for these players.
