Can Sony Michel once again produce for the New England Patriots?

Expect the New England Patriots will get back to a power running game against the Los Angeles Chargers.

With Rex Burkhead on IR, James White got most of the play calls designed for the versatile running back, but perhaps this week is when fans see Sony Michel getting a few snaps.

After returning from IR himself, Michel has been inactive one game and although active against the Arizona Cardinals, didn’t see the field.  In trying to work his way back up the depth chart, this matchup against the Chargers will be a perfect opportunity for him to get back into the grind.

With a short week ahead of them, the Patriots may want to monitor the workload of Harris.  That means Sony Michel should get an opportunity and depending on how much success the team has running the ball early on, could break off some big runs like he did back in Week 3 against the Las Vegas Raiders.

There is no 100-yard rushing prediction here but look out for Michel making a couple important plays in this game.  Maybe even score a touchdown.
