New England Patriots: 3 wide receivers team should target in free agency – No.3: JuJu Smith-Schuster

If the Patriots are looking for a “bargain” JuJu Smith-Schuster seems to be a perfect candidate for New England.

Smith-Schuster hasn’t exactly had the best of seasons as of late. After his breakout season in 2018, he has failed to find that magic. In 2020 JuJu has improved compared to 2019. He has nearly 80 catches and seven touchdowns.

Smith-Schuster has proven that he is capable of being a No.1 receiver. He is exactly what the Patriots need.

JuJu is another receiver who can use his size to his advantage. Also once he is in the open field, he can be tough to bring down.

Patriots fans are also used to seeing guys like N’Keal Harry fail to gain separation. Smith-Schuster on the other hand excels at doing so which will make a lot of Patriots fans excited.

Compared to the previous two receivers mentioned above, Smith-Schuster has a smaller price tag. He is projected to get an annual salary of around $15.5 million. For a receiver of JuJu’s talent, that is not bad at all.
