Boston Celtics lineup: Perfect 2nd unit for upcoming season

Boston Celtics lineup: Perfect 2nd unit – Shooting Guard: Payton Pritchard
It might be just one preseason game, but it seems like Payton Pritchard is ready for a role in Boston’s second unit.
Pritchard is exactly what the Celtics need. They need a shooter who can come in and catch fire. It seems like Danny Ainge made a great pick in the 2020 NBA Draft.
Against the 76ers, Pritchard scored 16 points and shot 60 percent from the field. That’s the type of production that Boston needs.
Having Pritchard as the two guard would allow him to find open space and get open shots. If he was on the ball as a point guard he likely wouldn’t be able to get as many shots up.
It seems like Pritchard will be able to score when he wants. He has a quality jump shot but it also seems like he will be able to get to the rim at times.
Now it will be interesting to see how Pritchard will perform if he has fewer minutes. Will he still be able to perform as well as he did against Philly?
But so far it looks like Pritchard has restored the faith of fans when it comes to Ainge’s drafting skills. It will be hard to doubt him if Pritchard has a decent role this season.
