Boston Celtics lineup: Perfect 2nd unit – Point Guard: Jeff Teague

Finally, we come to point guard and the best move for the Celtics would be having a veteran like Jeff Teague play point guard.

Teague was another player who had a quality showing in the team’s first preseason game. It looks like Boston made a smart acquisition this offseason.

Having a veteran like Teague heading up your second unit adds a lot of experience and will ensure that things are running smoothly. He is also a decent defender and can score as well.

Just for those wondering, I think Marcus Smart is a starter. When Kemba Walker is healthy he can be the two guard in the starting five. He has improved as a shooter and shown he is worthy of a spot in the starting five.

It will be interesting to see what the Celtics end up doing, but this would be the perfect second unit for Boston this upcoming season.
