It’s simple, Jayson Tatum is the man

So, that brings us back to Jayson Tatum who is entering his fourth NBA season with some challenges ahead of him.

One of those challenges is to be a money player and he showed that right off the bat with his game-winning shot over one of the top superstars in the game.  Not only is he demonstrating early in his career that he is not afraid of the big stage, but he is also clutch and worth every penny of that max extension he signed prior to the season.

Now, he just has to keep it up and continue to grow his game and show that he can carry this Boston Celtics team at times where they really need a hot hand and the leadership he provides by example.

He is also showing a lot of confidence in his game, obviously magnified by what he had to say about his clutch shot over Giannis following the game.

"“I feel like every shot I shoot should go in,” Tatum said, via MassLive.com.  “Giannis is extremely tough, so I tried to get some separation and put some arc on it.”"

Tatum didn’t call “bank” as it went in off the backboard, but the young Boston Celtics star is paving his own road to elite status and it has to feel good for the organization as well as fans.

One down, seventy-one games to go.
