The New England Patriots are preparing for the 2021 draft along with 31 other NFL teams and here are five absolute lock predictions for the Patriots beginning late next month. Here are the particulars on the draft as noted by the Sporting News.

Of course, the silly season for NFL fans has already begun as mock drafts are flooding the media. As interesting as they are to fans of the clubs for whom they hypothesize, they may as well be categorized as “mockery” drafts since they have little bearing on reality and really are exercises in futility both for the mockers and the mockees.

This is excepting maybe the first five or so picks. But nevertheless, they are fun. They are interesting. And, they are always an absolute look-see for draft fans before their teams select in late April.

This article is directed not at possible mocked selections for the New England Patriots (more on those will be forthcoming later, although a recent article previously suggested a good one for the Pats) but rather points out five guarantees about the Patriots’ draft which unlike all the mock drafts, Patriots fans can take to the bank.
